MedaSonics Ultrasound Stethoscope Model BF5A - The MedaSonics 8 MHz Ultrasound Stethoscope Doppler blood flow detector is a pocket-size instrument designed specifically for detecting blood flow in small arteries. It can be useful for such things as detecting a weak pulse in a patient or taking systolic blood pressure in obese patients or those in shock. It can detect blood flow up to a depth of 5 cm. It is powered by a 9 volt battery. It comes with a soft case, 9 volt battery, and coupling agent(gel). This is an unused Stethoscope that was purchased as Government Surplus.
