Toshiba’s unique OPTOTUNE technology is incorporated into each detector to maximize its stability over extended periods of time. This feature, in combination with high-resolution energy and linearity corrections, virtually eliminates the need for routine detector tuning.
ROBOCONTOUR is a significant innovation developed by Toshiba. It enables the detectors to closely follow the outline of the patient’s body during acquisition. Infrared beams are used to adjust the automatic tracking of the patient’s contours by each detector, resulting in images of remarkable resolution and reproducibility.
