Medela's Vario Aspirator (Pictured wCanister & Lid wTubing - Sold Separately) Medela's Vario aspirator is a compact, durable unit ideal for hospitals, clinics, outpatient surgery centers, patient transport vehicles, and physician offices. It is widely used for endoscopic, emergencycrash cart, and veterinary applications. The Swiss-engineered Vario is the smallest aspirator on the market to utilize piston-cylinder technology to generate vacuum pressure. Previously available in only the largest of suction equipment, piston-cylinder technology has been reinvented by Medela for use in smaller aspirators. This innovation is called Quatroflex a patented 4-cylinder mechanism that ensures every Vario runs whisper quiet and without vibration.
