A new standard in pressure management.. Extremely light-weight for easy handling.. Mattress overlay incorporates a Solid Gel patterned layer that is inherently visco-elastic.. It works in responding to pressure by deforming slightly, thereby dispersing critical weight over a large surface area.. Non migrating gel is engineered into a high density 2" solid foam base with a specially designed 1"convoluted top to provide maximum comfort and pressure management.. Overlay reduces body interface pressure and provides a comfort at critical points over a wide range of body shapes and sizes.. Since the gel will not migrate or pool, the overlay is effective in any bed position. . Our non-aqueous gel will not migrate or leak like water-based gel products. . Overlay delivers same consistent results over the lifetime of the product.. Light weight feature reduces shipping costs.. Cover is fluid resistant, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. Meets CAL 117.. 275 lbs. weight capacity..
