The Kodak X-Omatic L radiation therapy cassette is designed for portal localization where a few monitor units are used for the single or double exposure technique. The lead back screen allows the number of monitor units to be reduced by approximately a factor of two over that required when the lead back screen is not used. The cassettes are sized 11" x 14".
