| The DRE-300 ESU units use dedicated digital hardware instead of a general purpose controller for processing data. This hardware allows parallel data processing and generates very high data processing throughput measuring tissue impedance 5000 times per second. All data is sampled and processed digitally being converted to analog only in the output stage. This digital technology will make controlling the ASG system very simple for the OR team during any point of the procedure allowing the surgeon to concentrate on whats important the operation and the patient. Cutting - The ASG-300 is equipped with a digitally controlled and regulated cutting effect. This innovative cut behavior can be utilized in a variety of procedures from high-powered high-impedance procedures CUT I to general applications CUT II. Blended Cutting Mode with 10 blend settings. Cut I Mode The cut is precisely controlled by the unit. This mode has a digitally controlled cutting quality that ensures performance when cutting high resistance tissue as with Prostate procedures or cutting underwater with minimal output power. Cut II - Functions at a lower power setting and produces little or no uncontrolled sparking with the highest degree of safety for precise effects in general applications or microsurgery. Laparoscopic surgery is a good example of procedures this would be ideal for. Blend Mode 10 blend settings in 6 increments combines cut and coag in a way that allows for greater flexiblity and customization. Maximum blend adjustment is 60 coag 40 cut.
