Dr. Jills Gel Dancers Pad (Self-Sticking & Re-Usable) Features of These Soft Gel Cushions -Soft gel pad cushions the ball of the foot and reduces pressure under the big toe joint (sesamoids). -Self-stick pads make for easy application. -Non-medicated. -Washable and re-usable pads. Each cushion can be used over-and-over again. -For use in all styles of footwear. How These Gel Pads Provide Comfort: -Designed to shift weight bearing away from the big toe joint (the sesamoid area). -Cut-out surrounds the area under the big toe on the ball of the foot to re-distribute weight onto the pad and away from the sesamoid area which relieves stress, tenderness, and pain. -Cut-out off-loads weight from the 1st metatarsal head. -Pad provides excellent cushioning and long lasting comfort for ball of foot pain. Possible Uses: -Sesamoiditis (inflammed sesamoid) -Hallux Limitus -Hallux Valgus -Calluses -Dropped metatarsal head pain -Fat pad atrophy -Metatarsalgia Directions: -Apply to clean and dry foot. -Position pad so that the cut-out is comfortably placed around the head of the 1st metatarsal. -Remove the cushion at least 3 to 4 hours daily to allow the skin to breathe. Recommended Care: We recommend that you hand wash the product with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly. Then, air dry. Once dry, the pad will renew its self-adhering surface and stick again many times. The life of the product is affected by its care, use, and activity level of the individual. Warning: Do not place product on an open wound. If irritation, discomfort, or any problem results from the use of this product, discontinue use immediately, and notify your doctor immediately.
